Why do we have a new training/leisure kit supplier?

In 2011 the Club wanted a local kit supplier for the non-playing kit, however nothing local was available to provide a club shop for members to buy direct. A company in the Lake District was identified as the best fit and has been the non-playing kit supplier ever since. Following a review to refresh the current offering, a local supplier had been found, with the benefit of supplying an international brand of sports/leisure wear with the ability to complement this with non-branded items through the new Club Shop.

What is the main brand of clothing?

Joma, a major Spanish Sportswear manufacturer, which is widely used locally, with Norwich City Football Club, Run Norwich, Community Sports Foundation, Goals Soccer Centre amongst its customers, as well as many internationally recognised teams and sports players. To complement this, if Kit Factory feel that a non-branded item might be a better fit for Norwich Dragons HC, this would be recommended.

Are there any discounts available?

The Club has secured a considerable saving against RRP prices in the Joma catalogue and for the embroidery etc by Kit Factory, by agreeing to commit to them for at least two years. All of these savings have been passed on to Club Members and are reflected in the pricing on the Club Shop, the Club makes no profit from this arrangement.

In addition to these discounts, for the first two weeks of the Club Shop opening, Kit Factory have given us an “NDHC Launch Offer” with an incredible further 10% off orders in the Cart over £120 AND will automatically include a free embroidered beanie worth £11.50!

Why Navy & Red?

Back in 2011 it was decided that navy was a colour used least by rival clubs, with Magpies and Norwich City HC both using black as their base colour for non-playing kit. Navy is a colour that members would feel comfortable wearing out and about, rather than brighter colours. Obviously the introduction of red trim, where available, creates the link to our main club colour. It was decided to stay with navy this year, to avoid everyone with existing kit having to immediately replace it.

Why have a separate Coaching set of kit?

Firstly, we think our coaches are amazing and we couldn’t do what we do without them, so they deserve something a bit special. Secondly, a major factor is that we wanted our coaches to be relatively easily identified on a training night. Burgundy was chosen to avoid clashes with multiple other colours that are used by other clubs, umpires, playing shirts etc etc!

How does the sizing work out for the new kit?  **REALLY IMPORTANT**

There are sizing charts for all items on the new Club Shop, attached to each item. Joma items will be the majority of items and subject to the Joma Sizing Chart. Kit Factory also offer a sizing check option by arranging to visit them at Swainsthorpe to check the sizing. Hopefully as more and more club members buy kit, then fellow members will get to see items of certain sizes.

Getting the sizing right before any embroidery happens is crucial, because refunds cannot be given once personalised.

Why are there so many items on the Club Shop?

We have tried to provide as much choice as possible for all club members.

Some items have a cheaper version and a slightly more expensive version, so all financial options are provided. Some items are only supplied as unisex items, whereas others have a specific women’s fit, so each variance of an item is shown. We know that different club members prefer different types of the same item, so we’ve tried to cover as much as possible.

Do I have to pay postage for all items?

If you want your products delivered to your home address, then yes you can select this at checkout and the relevant postage charge is added. HOWEVER, a massive advantage with Kit Factory is that they provide the ability to collect orders during working hours from their Swainsthorpe base, just 11 minutes drive from the Den!

How long do orders take?

Products are made to order for NDHC and can take 10-14 working days for Delivery, however Kit Factory will always do their best to get your garment to you as fast as possible.

 Club Shop FAQs answered by Kit Factory

1. How do I place an order?

All orders must be placed through the online club shop only. We don’t take orders by phone — this keeps everything in one place, avoids mistakes, and ensures your payment and personalisation details are captured correctly. Just choose your item, pick the size, add any personalisation (like initials), and check out online. Easy!

2. Can I add personalised initials?

Yes — most items can be personalised. Simply add your initials into the input box on the product page and the system will automatically add the small initials fee to your order.

3. What’s included in the price?

The decoration shown in the product images and description is included in the price (e.g. embroidered badge, printed logo, etc). Extras like personalised initials or numbers are optional add-ons.

4. How do I know what size to order?

Check the size guide on each product page. You’re also welcome to pop in and try samples — we’re open Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm. Just give us a quick call first so we can make sure we’ve got your sizes on hand.

5. What if I order the wrong size?

Please double-check sizes before ordering, but if you realise you’ve made a mistake, email us ASAP at [email protected]. If your order hasn’t been decorated yet, we’ll do our best to sort it for you.

6. How will my order be delivered?

Once your order is made (usually 10–14 working days), you can choose next-day courier delivery direct to your door, or Collect from Kit Factory if you’d like to grab it from us in person.

7. How long will my order take?

Our standard turnaround is 10–14 WORKING days (Monday–Friday). Please note this does not include weekends or bank holidays. If it’s ever going to be longer, we’ll let you know.

8. What if my item is out of stock?

We rely on the brand stock (for example, Joma) to supply your order. We place orders with them daily, but sometimes they’re waiting for new stock to arrive at their warehouse in Spain. When that happens, it usually takes about a week for the stock to reach us before we can add your club logos and send it on to you.

9. Can I return or exchange items?

Because every item is decorated with the club badge (and often initials too), we can’t accept returns or exchanges unless the product is faulty. Please double-check the size guide or try on samples before ordering.

10. What if my order arrives faulty or incorrect?

Email us at [email protected] within 7 days of receiving your order, and we’ll put it right straight away.

11. Is there a minimum order?

Nope — you can order one item or a whole bundle, it’s up to you.

12. Are there any special offers?

Yes! From time to time we run exclusive club shop deals. For example, a recent launch offer gave 10% off + a free club beanie when you spent £120 or more. We also run seasonal promos such as Black Friday — keep an eye on the shop homepage for the latest offers.

13. Do prices include VAT?

Yes — prices shown already include VAT where applicable (e.g. on adult sizes).
